Buckskin foals will have white/grey looking legs as newborns, similar to the way bay foals do. The legs will shed to the body color and eventually shed out to adult black.
Buckskin foals often have white hairs in their manes and tails which is called frosting. Some will keep the frosting but on others it disappears as the pony ages. Their manes and tails can also temporarily have buckskin colored hair in their manes and tails that will disappear as the pony grows up.
