Restaurant owner Bob Evans donated two buckskin Spanish Mustang stallions in 1976. An article from the Texas newspaper Bryan Times stated he donated the stallions after hearing about Equine Infectious Anemia affecting the feral herd. The two stallions were from his personal Spanish Mustang herd from bloodlines that originated in Utah and New Mexico. It's unknown how long the stallions lived and if they have any current descendants. Read an examination of Bob Evan's Mustang donation on Chincoteauge Pony History.
